'Running Man', one of the most popular variety shows loved by fans across South East Asia, is nearing its end. The show will air its final episode on February 26. With only seven episodes remaining and the participants making the most of what they have, the followers are gearing up for the close of the the 10-year long show. On January 8, the cast played a game of true and false on their personal relationships and the results were interesting, shocking and very amusing.

Right now, 'Running Man' is having its 'Member's Week' and the January 8 episode was a Song Ji-hyo special. The members other than the actress had to appear for a lie detector test, notes Soompi. The one who was able to pass without getting shocked were able to take a ride with Song Ji-hyo on a sled, while the remaining four out of the five, excluding the actress, would have to pull the sled to the destination.

As time came for singer Kim Jong Kook, Song Ji Hyo, who has sometimes been paired with him, asked him whether he still likes actress Yoon Eun Hye with whom he had an official love line in SBS's game show 'X-Man.' Jong-kook had to say either true or false. After pondering over this question for a few moments, he replied "false." As soon as he uttered his answer he was shocked by the lie detector, to the amusement of his cast members.

Yoo Jae Suk grabbed the opportunity to poke him on the embarrassing issue, asking "You still can't forget her, huh," while Lee Kwang Soo pointed out that it's a dangerous habit to remain so attached to a former flame, as noted by Allkpop. "That's kind of scary and clingy," Lee Kwang Soo told Kim Jong Kook, while everyone was having a great time teasing the singer and embarrassing him.

However, Kim Jong Kook directly addressed Yoon Eun Hye and asked her not to take this seriously as it was obviously set up and intended for fun. "Eun Hye, it's a misunderstanding," he said, addressing his former co-cast member in 'X-Man.'

Those who followed 'X-Man' during its original airing would know that Kim Jong Kook and Yoon Eun Hye were a popular pairing on the show and Jong Kook was always protective of his screen partner, even though they were never a couple in real life. Eun Hye has even acknowledged his kind and generous behaviour to her before. And in any case, almost nothing is known about Kim Jong Kook's real love life. He has been paired with others on television before and recently with Song Ji Hyo in 'Running Man' but those were just an element of the shows themselves.

As for Lee Kwang Soo, he was asked whether he actually believes he has nothing to lose against his best friend Song Joong Ki. He said, confidently, "I honestly think so." The machine confirmed that his answer was indeed true, to the disappointment of his fellow cast members who were hoping he'd get shocked too like they had. But Kwang Soo wasn't so lucky the second time around when he claimed he was also better than Jo In Sung.

Ji Suk Jin, Yoo Jae Suk, and HaHa, who are all married, were asked about their wives. Suk Jin and Jae Suk both were both asked whether they'd marry their current wives again in another life. Both said "yes," but Jae Suk was probably lying as he was shocked by the lie detector.

The next episode of 'Running Man' airs on December 15.
