Boca Raton teacher pleads guilty to kissing student A teacher at Somerset Academy in Boca Raton, Florida, pleaded guilty on 16 May to kissing a student on the lips. The teacher, Brian Kornbluth, was recorded kissing the student in February, after the schools principal had the camera in Kornbluths classroom repositioned so that it faced the teachers desk, after another teacher reported a number of unusual requests by Kornbluth to have certain students moved to his class.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan gives statement on increased terror threat level Sadiq Khan has said security will be reviewed in London after 22 people were killed and more than 50 injured in an explosion at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena. The mayor said extra police and armed military would be deployed on the streets of London in the wake of the terror attack. Khan added that the capital stands united with Manchester.
