Kim Woo Bin had announced that he will be putting all his upcoming commitments including his forthcoming flick Wiretap on hold to concentrate on his treatment. Earlier this year, Woo Bin revealed that he has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, which is in the first stage. The actor's agency Sidus HQ soon revealed that he has started medication and radiation therapy to cure the illness.

Woo Bin's doctor Jung Yoo-seok later revealed that the actor will undergo a mix of radiation treatment and medication without surgery due to the uncommon location of his cancer. The physician also clarified that there is a 70 percent recovery chance since it has been diagnosed in the initial stage itself.

Now, his agency has issued an update on the actor's health condition. A representative from the agency revealed to Sports Kyunghyang that Kim has successfully completed his first chemotherapy session. "His health has improved a lot. We think we will be able to deliver the good news soon," the source added. Further, they also clarified that doctors are yet to make a decision on whether the Heirs actor will need another chemo session.

"Kim Woo-bing repeatedly underwent partial hospitalisation and discharge to undergo cancer treatment. As the pharma industry has advanced rapidly, there are no visible changes in his appearance but the actor has lost around 10kgs," the report added. The actor is well-supported by his parents, sister, and his actress-girlfriend Shin Min Ah.

Fans are eager to get more updates on the actor's health. We wish him a speedy recovery!
