EXO's Kai who is popularly known for his music skills, is also trying to make a mark in the field of acting as well. According to the reports, the boyband member who is working of his upcoming KBS drama title, Andante, is getting more attention from the production team for his tremendous work ethics.

According to Soompi, the TV network released the behind-the-scenes from the set of Andante, and the shots revealed how EXO's Kai is deep immersed in the script and in acting. In one of the pictures, he is seen talking and listening to the director intently.

Reportedly, he also exchanges his thoughts and feedback with the director and the co-stars of the drama during filming.

In some other photos the idol was seen reading the script with much attention. Giving value to the picture, the co-stars of the drama revealed that Kai almost never lets go of the script and he studied the script and his lines intently in between the takes. After giving each take, the actor used to make sure that the shot was done perfectly and ran every time to the monitor to check if he managed to give his best or not, proving the kind of dedication he has for his work.

"Kai approaches each and every scene with maturity, enthusiasm, and sincerity," an insider from the Andante production team said, as cited by Soompi.

The source further added saying: "He works very hard on set and shows consistent growth with every passing day. We are excited to see where his career takes him as he continues to improve."

However, the singer-actor received a lot of flak when the news of his casting into the drama was out. Many believed it was mainly due to the popularity of his idol group EXO and not because of his acting skills.

Though, he was not entirely new in the acting field, as he is known to have acted in two web dramas "Choco Bank" and "7 First Kisses," to choose him as the lead character of the KBS drama was seen as an inappropriate choice because of his lack of experience in the field.
