Amzer forays into fitness band, launched FitZer smart bands

Leading mobile accessory maker forays into wearables. Plans to launch more wearables and IoT devices soon.

US-based mobile accessory maker Amzer has launched its fitness tracker FitZer Ka in India. The band comes with an oled display and supports Android and iOS and can record steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned and monitors and records sleep patterns. Amzer's fitness tracker will be exclusively sold through Croma retail stores both online and offline at a price or Rs. 2999.

"We will also introduce IoT solutions and other wearable technology-based products later this year," said Rishi Raj, VP – Business Development, Amzer.

Like any other fitness band the FitZer ka allows you to set goals and record the progress in the form of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly data.

This band has a dedicated app and is splash proof and has vibrating alarm functionality and can wirelessly.

FitZer connects with your smartphone using Bluetooth 4.0 and has a 70mAh battery, which gets fully charged in 2 to 3 hours and gives up to 7 days of backup.

It is compatible with Android 4.3 and above and iOS 7.0 and above. Users can even sync data from the fitness band with Apple's Healthkit app.
