YouTube names 10 most viewed K-pop music videos in first half of 2017

YouTube has come up with the list of the Top 10 most viewed K-pop music videos in the first half of 2017.

It tallied the views based on music videos that were released between Nov. 24, 2016 to June 25, 2017.

Topping the list is girl group TWICE's "Knock Knock" music video uploaded on YouTube on Feb. 17 this year. The music video now has 121.93 million views so far.

"Knock Knock" is the title track of TWICE's album "TWICEcoaster: Lane 2" released on Feb. 20. It peaked at No. 5 on Billboard's World Digital Songs while the album became No. 1 on Korea's Gaon chart and placed fourth on Billboard's World Albums chart.

Placing second is boy band BTS' "Not Today" music video which now has 115.56 million views since Feb. 19, 2017.

Big Bang's "FXXK IT" is in third place. The music video has received 102.22 million views since December 12, 2016.

"Spring Day" of BTS placed fourth. It has been viewed 97.75 million times since its release on Feb. 12, 2017.

Fifth is "Stay with Me," the official soundtrack sung by EXO member Chanyeol and Punch for the Korean drama "Goblin." It now has 80 million views since its upload on Dec. 12, 2016.

Sixth is TWICE's "Signal" music video which has gotten 75.85 million hits since May 15, 2017.

"Last Dance" by Big Bang placed seventh with 55.94 million views to date since Dec. 12, 2016.

Korean rapper Psy's "New Face" and "I Luv It" are No. 8 and 9, respectively. "New Face" has 59 million views since May 10, 2017 while "I Luv It" has 50 million hits since that date, too.

Boy band GOT7 is tenth with their music video for "Never Ever," which now has 48.93 million views since March 12, 2017.
