Wassup's Nada talks about her financial woes, says she is dirt poor

Nada is a part of South Korean girl group, Wassup.

Wassup's Nada opened about her not so good financial state. The singer revealed that the main reason for her massive monetary hit is the under prevalence of her girl band.

When asked about her current income, Nada genuinely relayed that she is not making enough, even to secure a living: "I'm really dirt poor right now" she said, "It's because Wassup is not active so we're not getting any income."

The clip of Nada's financial woes was released in the latest episode of Unpretty Rapstar 3, where the singer honestly talked about her struggle to strive a living. Nada, whose real name is Yoon Yejin, further revealed that she is in a better place than fellow band members as she often takes part in music production projects. She said: "Because I'm the only member who writes rap lyrics, I receive both copyright and performance royalties. But you know, every time someone streams my music it's only 6 KRW (not even a whole cent in USD)...and if we split it, then it becomes 0.0-something KRW. I don't even get 100,000 KRW (~$89 USD) deposited in my bank account."

"Because our management label isn't doing so well, they can't properly do my hair or makeup and I've had to go to my schedules or the airport using public transportation," the songstress relayed.

Nada is currently seen in South Korean music competition, Unpretty Rapstar 3. The show airs on Mnet, and focuses on female rappers.
