Tobey Maguire was reportedly trying to flirt with Emma Stone. The 41-year-old American actor allegedly tried to get her phone number when they were both at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
A source told Life & Style: "He was checking her out a lot, hoping she'd notice him. He began showering her with cheesy compliments, telling her how all of Hollywood was in love with her."
Stone "didn't seem interested in him, but she finally gave him her number and suggested meeting up for coffee, then ran off."
The insider continued: "It was pretty obvious she was blowing him off."
In 2016, Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer announced their divorce after nine years of marriage. The Spider-Man star and the jewellery designer decided to call time on their relationship, but insisted they are focused on making sure their two children - Ruby and Otis - are their top priority.
In a joint statement to People magazine, they said: "After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship."
The couple tied the knot in 2007 - four years after they met - in a ceremony in Hawaii in front of their close family and friends.
Meanwhile, Stone is single after splitting with Andrew Garfield in October 2015.
