Shin Dong Yup and Kim Sook placed first and second, respectively, in the new brand reputation rankings for Korean comedians in October.
The Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation has analyzed 86.99 million pieces of big data of 50 comedians loved by consumers from September 5 to October 6, based on participation, media, communication and community values.
Compared to the 120.26 million pieces of big data in July, it decreased by 27.66 percent.
Shin Dong Yup placed first with a score of 5.36 million, rising by 16.32 percent from his July total of 4.61 million.
According to the institute, Shin Dong Yup is steadily displaying his talent as an entertainment emcee. He is currently seen on TV shows "SNL Korea," "Mom's Diary-My Ugly Duckling," "Hello Counselor" and "Immortal Songs 2."
Comedienne Kim Sook of TV shows "Battle Trip" and "Video Star" is second in the rankings with a score of 4.48 million, increasing from 3.99 million and rising from ninth place in July.
Kim Gura of "Radio Star" and "King of Masked Singer" is in third place with 4.41 million, falling from a score of 4.71 million or 6.2 percent in July.
"Knowing Bros" and "With You" cast member Kim Young Chul placed fourth with 4.22 million while Yoo Jae Suk of "Running Man," "Happy Together" and "Infinite Challenge" placed fifth with 4.05 million.
