Singer Selena Gomez has been really private about her relationship with The Weeknd. Recently, however, Gomez opened up, for the first time, about her relation in a radio interview.

According to US Magazine, the singer explains about her relationships, boyfriend and how she is in the relationship.

Gomez said, "I'm the kind of girl that loves tremendously big. I just have always been that girl."

She further added, "I will give my heart and my soul to the person that I love. It's just how I operate. With that comes a lot, you know?"

According to inquisitr, Salena didn't mention The Weeknd; however, she made it very clear that she is in a relationship. As the singer went on to say, "I was planning a trip and I was saying, like, 'I'm going to leave,' but I was trying to get somebody really cute to tell me to stay," when she was asked about the last lie she told.

There were rumours that the singer is working on something to feature The Weeknd, which is called "In Her Element."

The 24-year old singer, however, said all such rumours are false; no such collaboration is taking place anytime soon.

Salena's former lover Justin Bieber has reportedly been taking jabs at The Weeknd. He even called the Canadian's singer's music "wack," inquistr mentioned.

The Weeknd too gave it back to the "Sorry" singer in one of his song earlier this year called "Some Way," NME noted.

Previously, The Weeknd was in a relationship with Bella Hadid which lasted for about 18 months. Two months after separating from Bella, The Weeknd was spotted with Selena Gomez. It was also reported by various media outlets that Bella Hadid unfollowed Selena Gomez.

Two of them, however, did not openly accept and is trying to keep their relationship private as much as possible.
