Halloween is coming up in a week's time and some of you might already have plans on what you'll wear on costume parties. But if you have no plans to go out, you can just sit on the couch or stay in your room and play some of these spooky games on your phone.

A franchise to the Netflix award-winning original series Stranger Things, the mobile game brings users back to 1984 in a world of top-down exploration. If you are a series fan, you'll be familiar with favourite locations like Hawkins Lab and Mirkwood. Solve puzzles, collect Eggos and Gnomes and save yourself.
Distraint: Pocket Pixel Horror (US$0.99)
Originally developed for PC, this 2D psychological game lets you explore a spooky world full of grim and dark humour. Dive into a unique narrative filled with fascinating twists.
Oxenfree transports you to an old military island for an overnight party, but the feast would go horribly wrong. The night turns into a terrible experience and you and your friends have to survive the creatures and events that would unfold.
