Miley Cyrus reveals the real reason why she wears less clothes

Miley Cyrus revealed she does not want people to talk about what she wears.

American singer/actress Miley Cyrus is well known for her eccentric fashion trend. There are times when the former Disney star has left her house half-dressed and also had some crazy fashion moments on the red carpet.

During an interview on Today show, the 23-year-old singer revealed she does not want people to talk about what she wears, especially on the red carpet. She said: "It's really not about the color of the carpet. It's more about, especially women, we get yelled at to blow them a kiss, and I don't feel like blowing you a kiss."

"[The photographers] yell, 'Blow us a kiss!' Like what is going on? Who are you? And then you're just kind of putting yourself out there for people to talk," she added. "I don't want people to talk about what I'm wearing. That's usually why I don't wear too much, but they make me wear clothes on The Voice and on the Today show, so this is what I chose."

Adding on, Cyrus admitted she is enjoying her time on the set of The Voice. She explained: "I don't think people at home realize how real this is. I wouldn't be doing this if this wasn't - what it looks like is what it is. There are no producers and directors coming up and telling you want to say or who to pick or who's coming up next."

"I think even I came in with preconceived ideas of what I thought the show was and they were completely broken down ... I also think it's a part of my philanthropic life. It's being there for people and encouraging them to be who they are."

Cyrus is joined by Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as coaches. She added: "I think the greatest thing about 'The Voice' is we get to show all different sides of us, and our music knowledge beyond our genre. I think I have the most diverse team of all teams. I have country and pop. It has a little bit of everything and very genre-fluid and very open and cool."

"I'm the one that cries all the time because I get really attached. Even on days that we're not filming, I go there and I check in with my team," she added.
