Actors Lee Dong-gun and Jo Yoon-hee have already had their wedding ceremony. The news comes courtesy of Lee Dong-gun's friend, actor Kim Ji-suk. The couple held a private ceremony with limited guests and family members on September 29. The married couple have revealed their thoughts.
As noted by websites Soompi and Allkpop, after the news of the wedding ceremony broke out, Lee Dong-gun and Jo Yoon-hee apologised for not being able to invite many others, saying, "A lot of people congratulated us, and we're sorry that we weren't able to invite everyone. We will work even harder as husband and wife as well as actors in order to show everyone who supported us with a good image. We sincerely thank everyone once again."
Kim Ji-suk attended a press conference for his upcoming MBC drama '20th Century Boy and Girl' and it is here that he mentioned the wedding news. "I just came from attending my best friend Lee Dong Gun's wedding and received a lot of good energy there," Ji-suk said in the press conference. He also revealed, "Because the drama's premiere was pushed back, the press conference was also pushed back. As a result, I was able to attend my best friend Lee Dong-gun and Jo Yoon-hee's wedding, and receive good vibes there."
Lee Dong-gun and Jo Yoon-hee had their wedding ceremony on September 29 at 12 p.m. KST with both family's members present, along with some close friends. It was a small and quiet ceremony. A source from King Kong Entertainment, Jo Yoon-hee's agency, stated officially, "Jo Yoon Hee and Lee Dong Gun held a private, small wedding ceremony with family members from both sides in Seoul. They had the opportunity to focus on only each other as the atmosphere was calm and quiet, and because they wanted to be considerate of their relatives from both sides, their wedding was private."
Early in May 2017, Lee Dong-gun wrote a letter to his fans where he revealed that he had already registered his marriage with actress Jo Yoon-hee. In the same letter, the 'Queen for Seven Days' actor also mentioned that they were expecting their first child. The fellow actors had met on the sets of KBS2 television drama 'Laurel Tree Tailors,' also known as 'The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop.' On February 28, the agencies of both the actors had confirmed that they were indeed dating after growing close while working together.
