Is Kate Middleton alright? Prince William gives an update on her health

Prince William has spoken in public for the first time since it was revealed that Kate Middleton is expecting their third child. It was revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge is again suffering severe morning sickness - hyperemesis gravidarum, like with her previous two pregnancies.

The Duke of Cambridge addressed the baby news during his visit the Royal Foundation Support4Grenfell community hub on 5 September in London. He said: "We need Catherine to get over this first bit and then we can start celebrating. It's always a bit anxious to start with, but she's well."

Kate is is believed to be between eight and twelve weeks pregnant. A statement from Kensington Palace said: "Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.

"The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news. As with her previous two pregnancies, the Duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum."

"Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London today. The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace."

Meanwhile, Prince Harry revealed he is excited about the baby news. When asked how he was feeling about becoming an uncle again, he told Sky News: "Fantastic, great, very, very happy for them."
