Game of Thrones Season 6 :This is what cast has to say about John Snow

Cast reacted on the fate of John Snow.

Game of Thrones cast members were in the best looks for the season six premiere of the show, held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on 10 April in Hollywood.

Unlike any other red carpet event where celebrities are asked "What they are wearing" and "How did they prepare for the event" the only questions pouring in were on the much hyped fate of John Snow. While Kit Harington, who plays the son of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell in the series, was no-show at the event, the actor had previously announced his "possible" appearance in season 6.

Meanwhile, Vanity Fair caught hold of few cast members to hear the answer to the most pivotal question - "Is John Snow Dead?"

Maisie Williams who plays Arya Stark stated: "Lots of people have asked me about Jon and lots of people have been very disappointed. It's really a shame that he is not here this season, but there are loads of other interesting story lines—like mine!"

Dean-Charles Chapman, who plays Tommen Baratheon, revealed that he missed a train while responding to Jon Snow fans' queries. He said: "When they said, 'Is Jon Snow dead?' I said, 'Yes.' But they didn't want to believe me. The truth hurts. Especially on Game of Thrones."

Daniel Portman, who reprises the role of Podrick Payne, was surprised that people cannot accept the character's death. He said: "How many people have died on Game of Thrones? Get over it! That's what I say! I know it's a bit harsh, but get over it—there are loads of other characters for you to be getting on with."

Oscar-winning actress Faye Dunaway, who likes to watch Game of Thrones like a ritual, told the magazine that "she has little problem getting on without Snow, because her loyalty lies with the show's strong females."

Revealing about her current go-to, Dunaway added: "My cup of tea currently is Gwendoline Christie's Brienne. Isn't she great? A strong warrior, and she is going to have a bigger part in Season 6. And I love Emilia's Daenerys Targaryen too."

Game of Thrones Season 6 premieres on HBO (StarHub TV Channel 601) from 25 April at 9am in Singapore.
