BTS hits 8 million on Twitter and is still going strong

On the career front, BTS is all set to make a comeback on September 18 with their new mini album 'Love Yourself'.

BTS is creating record after record and looks like there is no stopping for the boy band. The latest is that the group has surpassed 8 million followers on their official twitter handle. This is one of the fastest 8 million in Kpop. A report on Soompi stated, "On September 5 at approximately 11:50 a.m. KST, the group reached 8 million followers on Twitter, just a little over a month since they previously hit 7 million on July 28."

On the career front, BTS is all set to make a comeback on September 18 with their new mini album 'Love Yourself'. The boys recently released the highlight reel of a special drama of the same name that narrated the story of each band member. Fans are truly excited with this back-to-back treats. The team also released a long trailer of one of the album's track, Serendipity.

A report on Billboard described, "The "Serendipity" clip is a short two-and-a-half minute-long music video focusing on the BTS member as he sings a contemplative alt R&B love song amidst a variety of light and airy sets. The song contained lyrics written by Rap Monster."

The boys recently wrapped up their Japanese debut with '2017 BTS Live Episode III The Wings Tour Japan Edition.' Their seventh single Blood, Sweat and Tears released in Japan recently and topped the weekly Oricon Chart, the country's largest music chart. In addition, their Spring Day MV from the album You Never Walk Alone becomes BTS' seventh work to surpass 100 million views on YouTube.

The seven-member boy band made their debut in June 2013 with the song "No More Dream" from their album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. Their debut album won several awards including the 2013 MelOn Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards, and the 2014 Seoul, South Korea Music Awards.
