The Beauty Inside English remake: Game of Thrones actor Emilia Clarke to star, other updates

The hit romantic comedy film from South Korea, "The Beauty Inside", is all set to be remade for the American market. Recently, it was revealed that the 2015 movie starring Han Hyo-Joo, Kim Dae-Myung, Bae Sung-Woo, Do Ji-Han, and Park Shin Hye has been picked up by "FOX 2000 for $2 million, beating out other major companies that include Universal Studios, Lionsgate, Sony, New Line Cinema and STX," Deadline reported.

The remake of the hit Korean movie will be written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. The duo is well-known for their hit film "(500) Days of Summer." Reportedly, in the American reboot, Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones," will play the lead role in the film. More details of the project are expected to be revealed soon.

Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series will be playing the role of Verena in the movie. She is a nurse and is in charge of a young boy known as Edward Dring who, after his mother's death, has fallen silent. As Clarke struggles to recover him, she finds herself submerged in the château's secrets.

Variety quoted Momentum Pictures' senior VP of content Ian Goggins as saying at the 2016 American Film Market: "We're excited to bring this amazing film to the big screen."

"Emilia has proven to be a versatile actor from her dominant role in 'The Game of Thrones' to her quirky, yet lovable character in 'Me Before You.' We're confident that her legion of fans will follow her in her new role in 'Voice in the Stone.," the report urther added.

Apart from the remake of the Korean film "The Beauty Inside," Clarke also has some projects in hand which include, "The Guns of August," "Voice From the Stone," with Marton Csokas and "The Woman with Red Hair".
