Actress Kim Yoo Jung had to be rushed to the hospital on Thursday. The production company of her upcoming film 'Because I Love You' confirmed the reports. According to the production house, Kim Yoo Jung was suffering from a bad cold and exhaustion.

A representative of the production company said: "Kim Yoo Jung's cold worsened after completing the 1 night 2 day-long promotion event in Hong Kong. Ultimately, she was sent to the emergency room for treatment last night. It's not to a severe degree of concern but it seems like she was exhausted from her busy schedule. She'll temporarily halt all promotions to rest and recover her health."

The actress had an interview on Thursday which was canceled because of her ill health. Her other schedules were also canceled.

The actress' agency revealed the details saying,"Kim Yoo Jung's flu got severe after she returned from her event in Honkong that lasted 2 days. She was taken to the emergency and treated overnight. We are not overly worried but she seems to have been extremely exhausted due to her busy schedule. She plans to stop all activities and rest until she can fully heal".

The actress' upcoming 'Because I Love You' is all set to hit the theatres on January 4, 2017. Korea portal reported that the fantasy-comedy film that tells the story of a high school student (Kim Yoo Jung) who guides a lost spirit (Cha Tae Hyun). The Joo Ji Hoong directed film is under 'Omnibus Film'.

The actress also recently starred in a KBS2 historical drama 'Love in the Moonlight' which is also known as 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds'. Possibly, the actress' busy schedule, affected her health and that is understandable. Kim Yoo Jung's fans from all over the world are wishing a quick recovery for her.
