Aloe Vera is a powerhouse of 75 known nutrients. It contains enzymes which are highly beneficial for your hair. Aloe Vera gel has the same chemical composition as that of keratin- the protein that is required to make your hair strong and smooth. The gel is extremely useful and is easy to apply. It swiftly penetrates the hair shafts and gives each hair strand the required moisturisation.

The gel is easy to make at home. All you need to make the Aloe Vera gel is the extract from the stem which you then need to dilute with water. Apply the gel on your hair and let it rest for 30 minutes. Wash it off with a mild shampoo.

Banana is rich in carbohydrates, vitamins, natural oils and potassium. This antioxidant helps fight free radicals. Banana hair pack moisturises the hair thus reducing the frizz. Adding yoghurt to the mixture will definitely work wonders. It also acts as a natural conditioner.

To make the perfect blend, mash a ripe banana and mix two teaspoons of yoghurt to it. Blend it thoroughly to smoothen all the lumps. Apply the pack on your hair and keep it for 45 minutes. Rinse it well with a shampoo.

Eggs and honey can work wonders

Egg packs might bother some with the fishy smell, but one simply cannot deny its benefits. The pack tackles dry and damaged hair, oily and limp hair and is the best solution for all seasons. The high concentration of proteins and nutrients makes the hair shiny and bouncy.

For the pack, you would need an egg, a teaspoon of honey, cream and olive oil. Make a smooth paste and apply it on your hair. Leave it on till it dries. Wash it thoroughly using a mild shampoo.

A hot oil massage makes the hair smooth and soft at the same time de-stressing you. Oils such as coconut, olive, sweet almond, jojoba, castor, lavender, rosemary, and thyme can work wonders on your hair.

Heat up the oil and apply it on your hair. Wrap your head with a warm towel. This process allows complete penetration of the oil to each of the strands. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash it off using a mild shampoo.

For the pack, you would need to mix one cup of mayonnaise and two teaspoons of mashed avocados. Beat the mixture till it becomes fluffy and apply it on your hair. Cover your hair for one hour with a shower cap and rinse it off with shampoo.
