Uruguay host South American leaders Brazil in the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifying match at Estadio Centenario in Montevideo on Thursday evening.

Tite's men are looking unstoppable since they ended their two-match winless run in the tournament in September last year with a 2-0 win against Ecuador on the road. Five wins have followed that and Brazil have conceded only one goal in their last six games to cement their place on top of the standings with 27 points.

On the other hand, Uruguay, who had been keeping the pressure on Brazil, suffered a shock 3-1 defeat to fourth-placed Chile in November last year.

Brazil are set to seal a spot in the World Cup final stages if they win their next two games and the Selecao are on course to get three points and start their year on a high on Thursday. While Tite will miss in-form Gabriel Jesus, his team have enough firepower in the likes of Neymar, Willian and Roberto Firmino to deliver the goods against Uruguay.

On the other hand, Uruguay are missing their top name Luis Suarez due to suspension and his presence would have been crucial to break down the Brazilian defence. While the onus to get the goals will fall on Edinson Cavani, Oscar Tabarez also has concerns with his backline as centre back Jose Maria Gimenez and goalkeeper Fernando Muslera are also not available for the high-profile clash.
