US President Donald Trump sparked frenzy on social media on Monday after he was photographed dumping a box of fish food into a pond of koi carp during his trip to Japan.

Initially, Trump along with his Japanese host Shinzo Abe started delicately feeding the fishes by spooning out the food into the pond. Later, the US leader apparently lost his patience with the slow method and was seen upending the entire wooden box of fish food into the pond.

This incident caused outrage among fish lovers and people started reacting on Twitter. Many people pointed out that fish cannot absorb a large amount of food at a time.

In response to the sight, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who was standing just behind Trump, was seen breaking out in laughter at his superior's approach to koi feeding.

However, a few of the Twitter users responded to Trump's behavior by writing: "Trump can't even feed fish right."
