T.O.P's Drug scandal: Trainee involved in the case receives sentence

The Seoul Central District Court also ordered drug rehab of 120 hours and a fee of 870,000 won

The BIGBANG member T.O.P has been in a lot of controversy after being caught smoking marijuana with a female acquaintance. Reportedly, she is a 22-year old trainee singer named Han So-hee and the first trial for the trainee has already taken place.

She has been sentenced to a probation period of four years and there is also a possibility of a three-year prison sentence if during her probation period she repeats the offense.

According to Soompi, the Seoul Central District Court also ordered drug rehab of 120 hours and a fee of 870,000 won (approximately $770).

The court stated, "She purchased psychotropic drugs LSD and marijuana many times and used/smoked them. She even purchased marijuana again while she was being investigated. She has admitted to her crimes and is remorseful. The fact that she does not have a prior criminal record was taken into consideration."

The trainee has been previously accused of smoking marijuana twice with T.O.P in October 2016. Han Seo Hee was also indicted for smoking liquid marijuana twice through an electronic cigarette.

According to the reports, the trainee usually brought the purchased marijuana to T.O.P's home to smoke together. She has also been accused of purchasing LSD on two different occasions.

Meanwhile, T.O.P is recovering from the ill health that was caused due to medical drug overdose. The rapper's first trial will be taking place on June 29.
