The Solar Eclipse has finally struck the United States—from Oregon to South Carolina—and has left the entire nation in awe. The country experienced the splendour of the rare celestial event on Monday after almost 38 years. Even American President Trump took out time to get a glimpse of the spectacular phenomena, however, he ditched his protective glasses, which is a big no-no.
The eclipse began around 10:15 a.m. Pacific Time on the West Coast and ended around 2:50 p.m. Eastern Time on the Atlantic coast. More than fourteen states witnessed the phenomena where the sun was completely covered by the moon resulting in total darkness.
