The staff of Saturday Night Live Korea (SNL) have apologised to the boy band B1A4 fans after videos of some female comedians groping the male idols' genitals surfaced and went viral almost instantly.

Following the incident, SNL Korea took to Facebook to apologise to the public. They wrote in a post, according to Allkpop, "Hello, this is 'SNL Korea'. We apologize to the B1A4 members and their fans about the violent actions against the hosts B1A4 in the video that was released on Facebook on the 26th. It was an unfitting action toward the hosts, and we will be careful that this does not happen again. We apologize once again to B1A4 members and their fans."

Audiences were shocked when some leaked footages from the "Saturday Night Live Korea", on 26 November, of some female comedians behaving inappropriately with guest hosts - B1A4 and INFINITE surfaced on social media.

However, fans are extremely disturbed by the incident and are not appeased with the apology. Netizens argue that what is being laughed off as a joke, if happened to a female celebrity, would have been a serious offence. They said if male comedians touched female celebrities between the legs they would have been jailed by now. However, the fans say, the incident is being taken lightly because it was male celebrities who have been groped. The fans also point out that the incident with INFINITE is completely being ignored and the staff has only apologised for B1A4.

The SNL Korea show was heavily criticised after this incident and the hashtag "SNL sexual harassment" was among the top tending hashtags.
