Singapore's CapitaLand shuffles management deck

Property developer CapitaLand on Monday announced a slew of management changes, which will take effect from January 1, 2018.

Property developer CapitaLand on Monday announced a slew of management changes, which will take effect from January 1, 2018.

Jason Leow was appointed as chief operating officer of CapitaLand from current designation of CEO at CapitaLand Mall Asia, the company said in a statement.

Replacing Leow at CapitaLand Mall Asia will be CapitaLand Mall Asia Deputy Chief Executive Wilson Tan Wee Yan.

Lee Chee Koon, the current CEO of The Ascott, has been appointed as group chief investment officer of CapitaLand.

Kevin Goh will takeover Chee Koon's position as chief executive officer of Ascott, CapitaLand's wholly owned serviced residence business unit.

CapitaLand Commercial's operations will be headed by Lynette Leong Chin Yee from November 1. She is currently the CEO and Executive Director of CapitaLand Commercial Trust Management.

Chin Yee's position will be filled by Kevin Chee Tien Jin, who is now appointed as the CEO of CapitaLand Commercial Trust Management. His appointment is effective from November 1.

Chief Corporate Development Officer Ng Kok Siong has been appointed as chief digital officer of CapitaLand.

Tan Seng Chai, the current chief corporate officer of CapitaLand, will now become group's chief people officer.
