Singapore: Lorry catches fire causing massive traffic jam along Lornie Road; no injuries reported

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) says that the fire was extinguished by the firefighters using a hose reel.

A lorry caused a massive traffic jam that stretched up to Sin Ming Road after it caught fire along Lornie Road during the morning rush hour on Tuesday. However, there were no reports of any injury.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that it was informed about the fire at around 7.35 am. It added that a fire engine, a Red Rhino and two fire bikes were immediately dispatched to the scene located at the junction of Lornie Road and Sime Road.

SCDF also said that the fire was extinguished by the firefighters using a hose reel.
