Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are reportedly on the rocks due to their busy schedule. The Starboy singer is in Europe on tour and the former Disney star is busy behind her upcoming track Fetish.

A source told Life & Style: "The distance isn't good for Selena and Abel. She has trust issues and hates being apart from him."

"Whenever Abel's phone rings or he gets a text, Selena looks over his shoulder to see who it is. It drives him crazy. They're really on the rocks right now," the insider added.

Gomez and The Weeknd, who have been dating since January, made their red carpet debut at the 2017 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The 27-year-old singer kissed the 24-year-old singer on her cheeks while on the red carpet, confirming their relationship.

Gomez had opened up about her romance with The Weeknd during a radio interview. She old Miami's Power 96.5 FM: "I'm the kind of girl that loves tremendously big. I just have always been that girl. I will give my heart and my soul to the person that I love. It's just how I operate. With that comes a lot, you know?"

Meanwhile, the former Disney star had previously revealed that she is unhappy with the constant scrutiny about her relationship with Bieber. She told W magazine: "I'm so exhausted. I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can't do it anymore."

"To me it was: I'm 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that. Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things. I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn't know where to go," Gomez added.
