Although the release of 2.0, the most awaited movie of Rajinikanth was pushed to next year, the entire world is waiting to get a glimpse of the film by ace director Shankar. Now, to add up to the excitement, sources claim that Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson would be shooting for a special song in the film, tipped to be the costliest song that will be shot for 12 days at a stretch.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala on Twitter wrote, "@superstarrajini and @iamAmyJackson will be shooting for a peppy dance track for #2Point0 – 1 of the costliest songs with 12 days of shoot."

The actors have already wrapped up the shoot of their film, which has been shot in exquisite locations and lavish sets. Eminent musician, A R Rahman will be composing music for the movie. Amy Jackson and Rajinikanth will lend their voices for this special song that is likely to be shot in Chennai. According to reports, Bosco will be choreographing the song.

"We have completed the shoot for 2.0. Only a song is left. Rajini and I are going to shoot for a 12-day song schedule next month. We are not travelling for the song, it will be indoors. There will be a huge set erected for the same, much like Shankar's style. A R Rahman is composing the song which will have a lot of dancing and romance. It has a bit of both, but it's going to be a dance track," BollywoodHungama.com quoted Amy Jackson as saying.

Made on a budget of Rs 450 crore, the film has already created buzz among the audience. After 'Baahubali' series, Rajinikanth's '2.0' is being touted as the costliest project in the South Indian film industry. According to reports, Lyca Productions, which is bank-rolling the project, has already spent a whopping Rs 40 crore just for the film's promotion.

However, reports have also said that the makers have already recovered almost Rs 200 crore by selling the satellite rights of the film. Zee TV Network has purchased the satellite rights of the film's Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions paying an astronomical price of Rs. 110 crore. Meanwhile, the Hindi version of the trilingual project has been bought by AA Films for around Rs 80 crore.

2.0 has become a much-awaited project not only because of Rajinikanth, but also Akshay Kumar, who is going to make his debut in the Tamil film industry with this film. 2.0 also stars Adil Hussain, Riyaz Khan and Sudhanshu Pandey. It is a sequel to Shankar's 2010 blockbuster Enthiraan (Robo) and is slated to release on 25 January, 2018, on the eve of Republic Day next year.
