Park Yoochun sexual assault case: Police take Miss Lee into custody, slaps blackmailing charges

Park Yoochun was given a clean chit following his sexual assault case involving four accusers on 11 July.

The first accuser in the much anticipated Park Yoochun sexual assault case has been reportedly detained for investigation. The alleged claimant, who imputed blame on former TVXQ member for molestation, will be facing a trial for false accusations and attempted blackmail.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police revealed on Monday that Miss Lee, her boyfriend and one another person has been summoned for a detailed investigation. As per media reports, the plaintiff and her boyfriend threatened Yoochun and tried to get money out of him in lieu of reporting the sexual assault incidence.

Allkpop states that Miss Lee's lover met the singer's manager on June 4th seeking ransom: "She is suffering so much from this and can't live in Korea. She has to go live in China. Don't you think you should help her?". The report suggests that the duo kept on intimidating the manager until 10th June, and filed a case after no money was rolled over.

Meanwhile, in a previous revelation, Miss Lee confirmed that she falsified the incidence and there was no force into the relation. She said: "There was no force during the sexual intercourse with Park Yoochun, but I filed the claim because I felt that he and his group saw me as an easy person." In addition, Miss Lee's boyfriend also issued an explanation to Sports Donga. He said: : "An accident happened when (Ms. Lee) was drunk. When I heard about the accident that day, I got mad and that's why [we] filed the charges. However, [I] thought it was our fault for not finding out the exact situation of what happened before and after and that's why the charges were canceled."
