Strong Woman Do Bong Soon actors Park Hyung-sik and Ji Soo showed that they are true gentlemen when they escorted three school students back home late at night.

Soompi notes that on March 14, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon stars Park Hyung-sik and J Soo held a free hug event and then fulfilled a promise they made for the drama's viewers, if their drama reached 3 percent ratings. The event which aired on Naver's V Live channel showed the two actors sought out students of Incheon's Hae Won High School who watch the drama.

The students were obviously ecstatic as the stars arrived at their school and greeted them with cheers and applause. The actors specifically picked up students who had to walk home alone at night.

"There are no streetlights leading up to my house so it's scary at night," said one of those lucky students. She also recalled that she had been in a dangerous situation once before, while returning alone at night. This made the two stars quite worried.

The fact that the fan-centric event took place on White Day, an Asian Valentine's Day, made it all more fun as the stars asked the students who they like the most from the JTBC drama. One student said she likes Park Hyung-sik's character. The other two students said they liked Ji Soo's character more, which disappointed Hyung-sik. When asked why, the two students said: "Because he's good looking."

An embarrassed Ji Soo reportedly tried to divert attention away from the topic by asking the lone student, who liked Hyung-sik's character, the reason behind her preference.

"Because he's so cheerful and good looking," said the student. This warmed Park Hyung Sik's heart and he showed a little bit of aegyo affection towards his admirer. Soompi notes that the two actors also had a good chat with the students, especially about their talents and about their dream jobs.

During a preview episode, the cast of the JTBC drama had talked of their hopes regarding the drama and its ratings. The cast had then said that if the first episode surpasses 3 percent in ratings, then they might escort five random viewers who end up going home late, all by themselves.

The first episode crossed that mark by getting 3.8 percent ratings, making a record for JTBC. Episode six received an impressive 8.7 percent rating as per Nielsen Korea and the actors kept their promise by rewarding three lucky viewers instead of five.

Ji Soo stated: "Originally, we promised to do these events if viewer ratings surpassed 3 percent and we are very happy that we are able to do these things for viewers because of their overwhelming love for the show."

Korea Portal mentions that on March 8, Park Bo-young, Im Won-hee and Kim Min-gyu, had also accompanied three fans during their walk home.
