The video game industry has continued to see more growth halfway throughout the year. While Sony's PlayStation 4 is hailed as the top-selling home gaming console for the month of June, an interesting data shows that many of Nintendo's titles made it to the top 10 best-selling video games in June.

Market research firm NPD Group recently unveiled the video games sales tracking list in North America for the month of June. In the not-so-surprising result, is a few Nintendo originals for the Switch console leading the pack. Bandai Namco, Time Warner, Activision Blizzard, Sony, and Take-Two Interactive also have their best titles on the list.

Bandai Namco's Tekken 7 is the top-seller. The developer proves that it can offer something fresh on the table, instalment after instalment, making it a critically-acclaimed fighting series. Time Warner's Injustice 2 came out with a bang last month, crashing the sales records of its other titles. Take-Two's Grand Theft Auto V comes third. It has been consistently topping the list since the start of 2017.

Activision Blizzard secured the fourth spot for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. The PlayStation 4 exclusive has been getting positive reviews for its beautifully remastered graphics, bringing much nostalgia for the game fanatics from the 1990s.

Nintendo claims the fifth, sixth, and seventh spots with Arms, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, respectively. Nintendo titles have been receiving a warm reception from both fans and experts as the developer banked more on fun and playful games for Switch and a new level of the gameplay experience.

Activision Blizzard's Overwatch and Take-Two's NBA 2k17 are not a surprise entry, placing themselves in the eighth and ninth spots, respectively. Sony's new exclusive release in May, Horizon: Zero Dawn, rounds up the top 10.
