The crime web television series on the story of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, Narcos, is getting ready for its season 3. The series majorly reflects the life and events of the drug lord who earned a fortune by producing and distributing cocaine.
According to E! Online, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, the Sense8 actor, will be joining the Narcos cast. The 34-year-old actor's role in the series would be that of a person who is in charge of laundering money for the cartel.
The website further revealed Silvestre's character as he explained, "He is an enigmatic person. It is not yet very well known how he is. He's had a love story that was bitter and also filled hatred."
He further revealed that the character will have a Colombian accent and will have an enigmatic persona. Apat from this, he also added that he will have a romantic angle in the series too.
Major hints were dropped in the season 2 as to who will be the new kingpin of the cartel. And, it quite seems like Helmer "Pacho" Herrera will be taking over Pablo Escobar.
However, only on season 3 it will be revealed as to who will be the new kingpin of the cartel.
According Movie News Guide, Executive producer Eric Newman said, "this show has always been about cocaine. We purposely did not call the show Pablo Escobar or Medellin." Therefore, it will continue to present the stories of the world of cocaine.
In the first two seasons Narcos was highly successful and received very good response from the audience. Fans are eagerly waiting for season 3 and several speculations and fan theories are trending about the new upcoming season. According to Movie News Guide, Netflix has already renewed the show for season 3 and 4.
However, the premiere date for Narcos season 3 is not out yet.
