Middlesbrough host Chelsea in Premier League clash at the Riverside Stadium on 20 November.

The Blues head into the game on the back of a five-match winning streak in which they have decimated their opponents, including Leicester City, Manchester United and Everton. Apart from scoring 16 games, they have now kept clean sheets in all the five matches.

A win on Sunday will take third-placed Chelsea to the top spot and they are primed to continue their good run, which they gathered before the international break.

Notably, the West Londoners have been on top of their game since coach Antonio Conte switched to his favourite 3-4-3 formation, which according to the Italian was a last resort.

Eden Hazard and Diego Costa have breathed fire and have adapted to the new formation very well and both the key men are fit for the Middlesbrough game. Cesc Fabregas also returns after recovering from a muscle injury he suffered last month.

On the other hand, the hosts have also been impressive in their last three outings as they snatched crucial points at Arsenal and Manchester City. Notably, Aitor Karanka's side snapped Arsenal's six-game winning-streak with a goalless draw in October.

They have been defensively disciplined as well conceding only three goals in their last five games. The 15th-placed side have it in them to stop Chelsea's rise to the top on Sunday.

Karanka knows the job in hand especially after observing Conte build a strong all-round unit at Stamford Bridge. However, he is confident of his side giving a stiff fight at home.

"Chelsea is another tough challenge for us. Antonio Conte is settling in the league very well but we can show once again how we can compete," Karanka was quoted as saying by the BBC.
