Manchester United enter this fixture after defeating Manchester City in the EFL Cup fourth round clash at Old Trafford during the midweek. It was Juan Mata's second half goal that was the difference between the two sides as Pep Guardiola's City were eliminated from one of the four competitions this season.

The clash also saw that City fail to register a single shot on target, something that could please Jose Mourinho. This win came after the Red Devils' drubbing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea in the league tie at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho will be hoping for a better result when his side host Sean Dyche's side this weekend. United have managed only one win in the league since the end of August, which came against Leicester City.

Burnley registered a 2-1 win over Everton in the last league tie. They will be hoping to improve their away form as they are yet to register a win in the league away from home in the 2016/17 Premier League campaign.
