The remains of two more victims in the Malaysian helicopter crash have been recovered from the waters of Batang Lupar in Sarawak. The bodies are being transported from Kuching to their families to complete the burial.

The remains have been identified as those of Asmuni Abdullah, husband of the late Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Noriah Kasnon, and Kuala Kangsar MP and Malaysian Palm Oil Board chairman Wan Mohammad Khair-il Anuar Wan Ahmad.

Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein disclosed the identities of the two victims at the Kuching General Hospital.

The remains of Wan Mohammad Khair-il arrived at the Sultan Azlan Shah Ipoh Airport at 6.10am. On the other hand, Asmuni's remains arrived at the Subang Airport at 7 am.
