The first leg at Signal Iduna Park saw Dortmund come from behind to settle for a 1-1 draw against Liverpool. Divock Origi gave the Merseyside club a lead in the first half, which was cancelled by Mats Hummels' second half header.

Liverpool have an advantage of the away goal and they need to make sure they can restrict Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Co from scoring at Anfield on Thursday. The Premier League club will be hoping for a victory and that should be sufficient for them to progress.

The clash also saw Jurgen Klopp return to his former club for the first time since he left the Bundesliga outfit at the end of the last season. The German coach will keep his emotions aside in the second leg as he looks to help his side progress to the last four of the Europa League.
