Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly trying different ways to save their crumbling marriage. The couple allegedly distanced after the reality star's Paris robbery, and the Gold Digger hitmaker was checked into UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation in Los Angeles on 21 November 2016.

A source told People: "Kim and Kanye are in a great place. They are just so happy. He's doing really great."

"They went through a really rough time there for awhile. It was really touch and go. She was dealing with the robbery and all that came after, and she felt like he wasn't there for her. He was going through his issues around the holidays, and he felt like she wasn't prioritizing him," the insider added. "Things were just awful between the two of them, but also with both of them separately. It was like for the first time, they just weren't happy. I don't think they were happy separately, and I know they weren't happy together."

However, the couple are fighting hard to save their marriage, for the sake of their children. The insider dished: "It's like the two of them were dangling on a rope off a cliff, and they used every single thing they had to find solid ground. They clawed their way back to somewhere a lot more healthy, and they're still clawing their way back. There are good days and there are bad days."

Kardashian tied the knot with Kanye in Florence, Italy, on 24 May 2014. The couple have daughter North West and son Saint West together.

In 2000, Kardashian eloped to Las Vegas and married Damon Thomas, when she was just 19. They split three years later. In August 2011, Kardashian married NBA star Kris Humphries after just six months of dating. But the couple parted ways in 72 days.
