Jennifer Lopez talks about motherhood, says she is grateful to have kids

The popular singer, Jennifer Lopez a proud mother of two little kids earlier had thoughts that she would never become a mother. In a recent interview, the 'On The Floor' star got emotional and revealed that she used to think motherhood was not on the cards for her.

During a recent appearance while promoting her TV drama 'Shades of Blue', the 47-year-old singer got really emotional while talking about her twins, Maximilian and Emme. She also confessed that back in 2011 when she got separated from her ex-husband the father of her two kids, Mark Anthony, it was hard for her to figure out her world any other way.

"I didn't have kids till later. I almost thought it wasn't going to happen for me," the teary singer answer during her recent appearance. "I'm very aware I was blessed with that. It could have been something different". She also added that her kids had made life so much easier and simpler for her and because of that she never takes her children for granted for a single day and really cherishes their presence in her life.

"They just made my life so much better," she said as reported by MSN entertainment, "I'm forever grateful that. I don't take it for granted one day." The singer also posted a beautiful message on Instagram last month during the ninth birthday for her lovely twins. "Thank you Lord for choosing me to be Max and Emme's mom,' she wrote on Instagram. "The word LOVE is not enough for how my heart and soul feel when I think of you... Happy Happy Birthday my lil coconuts!!! Mama loves you so damn much!!!" she added.

The singer is reportedly dating Drake now but her love for her little children is incredible and she never ceases to thank them for being there in her life.
