Jennifer Lawrence reacts to being called 'plus-size actress'

Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about body shaming.

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about her body image. The 25-year-old actress revealed she does not like being labeled depending on body type.

Lawrence addressed body shaming while talking with Extra's AJ Calloway at the premiere of her movie, A Beautiful Planet. This comes after Glamour magazine included her close friend Amy Schumer in their plus-size issue. She said: "There's so many different ways to be beautiful; Amy and I are always laughing about it. Everyone always talks about us like, 'Look, plus-size actresses!' Our idea of what is curvy is, like, so bizarre."

Adding on, The Silver Linings Playbook star, who previously dated Nicholas Hoult and Chris Martin, revealed she is single at the moment. She said: "What dating life? None? No. No, I'm not, it's really sad. I haven't felt the touch of a man in..."

Meanwhile, Lawrence had previously admitted that she has trouble finding a date. She told Vogue: "No one ever asks me out. I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it's coming from, I know they're trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I'm just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am."
