President Donald Trump had a special request to the judge following the sentencing of Bryan Kohberger. The killer, who pleaded guilty to murdering four University of Idaho students in cold blood, was sentenced to life imprisonment on Wednesday (July 23). Kohberger only uttered three words -- when a Boise judge asked him for comments about the sentencing. His short comment left several questions unanswered, especially his motive behind the crime.

The US President asked the judge to make the defendant explain his actions through Truth Social. Trump wrote that the horrible murders left several unanswered questions, and he hopes the judge at least makes Kohberger explain the reason behind these vicious murders before sentencing.

"These were vicious murders, with so many questions left unanswered. While Life Imprisonment is tough, it's certainly better than receiving the Death Penalty, but before Sentencing, I hope the Judge makes Kohberger, at a minimum, explain why he did these horrible murders. There are no explanations, there is no NOTHING," the American President wrote.

Horrific Details on Idaho Murder Case Emerge

Kohberger was sentenced to four life imprisonment without parole on Wednesday for brutally killing four students with a suspected Ka-Bar knife. The prosecutors released horrific details, including victims' injuries, which revealed the murderer used "a lot of force" to brutally kill Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves in their off-campus apartment on November 13, 2022, according to the documents released by Moscow police on Wednesday.

Kernodle sustained over 50 wounds, including two to the heart. She was lying on her back with blood-stained shorts and underwear when police found her. Chapin had "arterial blood spray" near his head and was lying dead under a blanket. Kohberger was found dead on the bed in the third-floor bedroom with more than 20 wounds. Mogen's body was lying under a blood-soaked pink blanket.

"I looked inside the bedroom Xana was lying in, and it was obvious an intense struggle had occurred. Kaylee was unrecognizable as her facial structure was extremely damaged," Police said.
