South Korean actor Go-ara, well known for her roles in 'Reply 1994,' for guest starring in 'Running Man,' and most recently 'Hwarang: The Warrior poet,' opened up on dating, 'Hwarang' writer Kim Eun-sook and also hinted at her admiration of tvN's drama 'Goblin.'

In an interview with website Soompi, Go Ara, who plays the character Kim Ah-ro, a half-breed in 'Hwarang' revealed that she is very eager to start dating and is waiting for the right man to sweep her off her feet. She said: "I really want to date. It might come and go but I do want to date. Now is the time for me to date. A lot of my friends are married. There must be fate. I'm waiting," she told Soompi.

In 'Hwarang' also known as 'Flowering Knights,' she is at the centre of a love triangle between Hwarang brothers Kim Sun-woo and King Jinheung. Both are very protective of her and would go to any lengths to save her. In episode 18, the tables turned when Ah-ro took an arrow to her heart, meant for Sun-woo. As per the previews released online, Kim sun-woo and Kim Ji-dwi, or as he is known now Jinheung, will be in conflict.

Go Ara talked about the production of the drama and the fact that it was all shot before its first ever broadcast on KBS 2TV. She said: "We finished filming in the summer, but it felt like finishing the drama after one year. Because it was 100 percent pre-produced, I made sure to watch it."

Hwarang actually wasn't that big a hit as expected by the producers. It couldn't really compete with 'Goblin,' 'Legend of the Blue Sea' or 'Descendants of the Sun.'

Speaking of 'Goblin' and 'Descendants of the Sun,' Go Ara said that she loved Kim Eun-sooks work as a writer. She said: "I really love writer Kim Eun Sook. There isn't really anything left for me to say but I really enjoyed watching her most recent drama and I've been living vicariously through it."

It is interesting that she refers to a "recent drama" of the 'most talented writer in Korea.' The drama in question can both be 'Descendants of the Sun' and 'Goblin.'

'Goblin' is undoubtedly the most talked about drama written by Kim Eun-sook. It handled complex themes of death, immortality and the afterlife wonderfully and in a unique, aesthetically pleasing manner. Her writing was supported by brilliant cinematography, wonderful acting and beautiful music. 'Hwarang' too, was an interesting drama that dabbled with pre-Joseon era politics and the origin of the 'Hwarang' knights, though fictionalized.

The final episode of 'Hwarang' airs on February 21 on KBS2.
