The Huntsman: Chris Hemsworth wishes Kristen Stewart to return as Snow White

Kristen Stewart played the title character in 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman.

Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is a fan of Kristen Stewart. The Thor actor hopes the 25-year-old American actress will return as Snow White for a third film in The Huntsman franchise.

Stewart played the title character in 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman, but she did not return for her role in the movie's sequel, The Huntsman: Winter's War. Liam Hemsworth's brother told WENN: "She's (Kristen) fantastic, it was a great film. She helped set up what we're doing now so I'd love to work with her again and if we have the opportunity to pick up that story again I think there's a lot of room for creative versions of what we've already done."

"When we did the first film, we were talking about the potential of this film, we were talking about the Huntsman's film, we were talking about a Snow White sequel and if there's an audience for either or both then fantastic," he added. "That was the whole idea to do something different and then whether we segue more directly into that then well who knows."

In July 2012, it was revealed that Stewart had an affair with the movie's director Rupert Sanders. The two were photographed kissing in the Hollywood hills. In 2014, it was announced that neither would return for the spin-off.

Following that, the two split from their respective partners. Robert Pattinson ended his romance with Stewart, and Sanders' wife, actress-model Liberty Ross (who played the role of Queen Eleanor, Stewart's mother in Snow White and the Huntsman) filed for divorce from him.
