Girls' Generation, one of the most popular K-pop girl groups in Korea, will be making their awaited comeback next month. SM Entertainment, the girls' agency, has confirmed that the eight-member group will release their sixth full album in August to mark the celebration of their 10th year since debut.

In addition, the girls will hold a fan meeting called "Holiday to Remember" on August 5 at the Olympic Hall of Olympic Park in Seoul.

Member Seohyun posted a photo on her Instagram account, which says "Holiday to Remember," which could be the title of the group's new album.

Fans have been clamoring for their comeback since Girls' Generation released their last album "Lion Heart" two years ago in August 2015.

"Lion Heart" sold 145,000 copies and topped the Gaon Chart upon its release. It also reached No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart.

With Girls' Generation's 10th year in showbusiness, they are considered the longest-running girl group in Korea. Their contemporaries including 2NE1 have already disbanded.

During the past two years, Girls' Generation members have been focusing on their solo projects.

Yoona is starring with ZE:A member Siwan in the upcoming Korean drama "The King Loves," which will air its first episode on July 17.

During the drama's press conference, Yoona said the project "feels especially important as it is a domestic drama that marks my tenth year in the industry. Even though it's been 10 years since my debut, I feel that I still need to show a lot more, do more, and feel more," according to AllKPop.

Meanwhile, Taeyeon's first full album "My Voice" has been chosen by American music channel Fuse as one of the 20 best albums so far this year.

"Queen Taeyeon really can do no wrong," Fuse wrote. "The Girls' Generation leader/main vocalist shines on yet another stellar solo project highlighting her versatility in moving from genre to genre. From the fervent pop-rock lead single 'Fine' to the bouncy, breezy 'Cover Up' to gentler ballads like 'Lonely Night' and 'Love in Color,' My Voice truly explores Taeyeon's stylistic and vocal growth."
