Overview

Germany come into the semi-final fixture after beating Italy on penalties in the quarter-final clash of the Euro 2016. France, on the other hand registered an easy win over Iceland to seal a berth in the last four of the tournament.

For the second semi-final clash, Germany will be without three key players. The list includes defender Mats Hummels, who is suspended and injured duo of midfielder Sami Khedira and striker Mario Gomez.

Didier Deschamps will have no fitness concerns nor he has any of his players suspended. The absence of Hummels and Gomez will be a blow for Germany and France will be looking to take advantage of this opportunity.

Portugal defeated Wales 2-0 in the first semi-final of the European championship, courtsey to second half goals from Cristinao Ronaldo and Nani. The winner of Germany and France will face Portugal in the final of the Euros.
