Big Bang's T.O.P made headlines for being caught smoking marijuana with a female acquaintance. Her identity has now been revealed.

As noted by Allkpop, the woman is a 22-year old trainee singer named Han So-hee. She had previously admitted to smoking the drug illegally on three different occasions in October, 2016. It was noted that she was part of the top 12 on MBC's 'The Birth of a Great Star 3' in the year 2012. See her pictures here.

Allkpop also notes that she is unusually popular and that a fan club dedicated to her formed even before she officially debuted as an artist. She was supposed to debut in 2016 as a member of a girl group but nothing has come off it yet. She had reportedly signed a contract with an agency in June of 2015 but her contract was cancelled within one month of her signing. Some unspecified personal issues were cited from her side.

As for T.O.P, the bandmaster of the Seoul Metropolitan Police, Ha Man-jin told reporters, as noted by Soompi, that the idol had returned to his station and will continue with his mandatory duties. T.O.P had returned to base much earlier than asked. The reporters missed him as a result.

"Currently, T.O.P has returned to his station [after being off-base], and is on standby. The deadline to return was originally 6 p.m., so he doesn't currently have any assignments. Whether or not T.O.P will be transferred to another department has yet to be decided," Ha Man-jin told reporters.

He added, "Until a court verdict has been made, T.O.P will be carrying out his duties with the band." Ha Man-jin also said a guard will be appointed for T.O.P to restrict his activities and ensure he doesn't leave the base.

On June 1, it was Channel A which reported that BIGBANG's T.O.P had been accused of smoking marijuana. "BIGBANG's T.O.P was handed over to prosecutors last April for charges regarding illegal drug use," Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, as noted by Soompi.

Initially, T.O.P denied the charges, saying, "I only smoked electronic cigarettes and I didn't know it was marijuana." However, his agency YG Entertainment, in a statement said that T.O.P had admitted to smoking marijuana before his military enlistment in February.
