Korean boy band EXO will be making their awaited comeback soon. "We are preparing for a summer comeback, and we will inform you after the schedule has been confirmed," according to a representative of SM Entertainment, the band's agency.

A report from the Korean media stated that the idol group will release a new album in mid-July and the members are currently practicing the choreography of their title track and will film the music video next week.

EXO released their summer album "Ex'Act" in June last year followed by a repackaged version titled "Lotto" in August, which had collectively sold more than one million copies.

According to the source, the title song for EXO's new album "is already out."

"It's a song that agency representatives will be pleased with. During the hottest part of summer a lot of people say 'It's so hot.' 'Hot' is a hint for the new song," the source said, according to Soompi.

After releasing "Ex'Act," EXO embarked on a world tour called "EXO Planet #3: The EXO'rDIUM." The concert tour consisted of 37 shows in South Korea, Thailand, China, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico and the US.

They wrapped up the tour with a Seoul concert that drew 70,000 fans for two days last May 27 and 28.

During a press conference for the concert, they revealed that the title track for their upcoming album "has already been decided."

"It is a track that all the members and the agency is satisfied with, so we have a lot of expectations. We will be returning this summer," the group said.

For now, EXO will be joining other artists from SM Entertainment in a workshop to be held in Jeju Island, South Korea on June 19.

About 100 singers including Girls' Generation, Red Velvet, NCT and TVXQ member Yunho will be there.
