Overview

Everton are without a win in last five matches in the Premier League and the hosts will be hoping they can bounce back when they take on Arsenal during the midweek. After avoiding a defeat against Manchester United at home, the Toffees suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Watford.

Romelu Lukaku's two goals in two halves were sandwiched between Watford's three goals. Ronald Koeman will be hoping his side end their winless streak and seal three points ahead of the festive period.

Arsenal are high on confidence as they came from behind to register a 3-1 win over Stoke City. Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have been the two key players for the north London club and Arsene Wenger will be hoping his side can shine when they face Everton on Tuesday.

However, the Gunners manager will not be without the services of his summer signing Shkodran Mustafi. The German international suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to spend the next few weeks on the sidelines.
