US President Donald Trump has added one more person to his blocked list of users on Twitter, and this time, it is Daniel Dale, Star's Washington correspondent. Dale was blocked soon after his fact-checking tweets about North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un went viral on the social media platform.

Dale now joins the elite list of people blocked by Trump on Twitter including American horror author Stephen King, actress Marina Sirtis, Jimmy Kimmel Live writer Bess Kalb, journalist Mike Elgan, and actress Rosie O'Donnell.

Dale's routine check and corrections of claims made by the President on social media have reportedly compelled Trump to block the journalist from accessing his social networking handle.

"Being nice to Rocket Man hasn't worked in 25 years, why would it work now? Clinton failed, Bush failed, and Obama failed. I won't fail," tweeted Trump on Sunday.

Dale, who used to check all the tweets made by Trump, soon retweeted stating that Kim Jong-Un was just eight 25 years ago. The post soon went viral on Twitter, and it was shared more than 80,000 times.

"I have been fact-checking every word of his for his entire presidency. Weekly, I'll call him out on a number of false claims but I don't know he ever saw any of those," said Dale, Star reports.

Dale called the action of blocking 'strange and hilarious', and added that he will soon set up a new Twitter account to continue fact-checking of claims made by Donald Trump.

Is blocking people on Twitter showing Trump's intolerant mindset?

Dale also expressed his concerns over Trump's habit of blocking people on Twitter. The journalist told that following Trump is necessary for every US citizen, as the White House itself has acknowledged that Trump's remarks are nothing but policy statements.

Trump blocked Stephen King following his critical statements about the President and his daughter Ivanka.

Sirtis was blocked soon after she made comments on Trump's war policies. She also used to call Trump, 'the orange menace' on her social networking handle.

Tech Journalist Mike Elgan was blocked after he made comments stating that Trump has been elected undemocratically through voter suppression.
