Clash Royale 2.0.1 update: Supercell rolls out Touchdown mode, Gold Rush, Gem Rush events and more

The latest Clash Royale update offers new modes and matches.

Clash Royale has officially started getting what game developer considers as the biggest update yet. The latest version of the mobile tower rush video game delivers a few new additions such as daily and weekly Quests and God Rush and Gem Rush events.

Supercell lives up to its promise to deliver a better and improved Clash Royale. Early on Tuesday, the update started to become available through the Clash Royale 2.0.1 APK which players can now directly download here. Players also have the option to wait for Supercell to officially roll out the update.

In the last few days, Supercell has been teasing the new update which most players did not expect to be this big. The Clash Royal 2.0.1 APK file weighs 93.85 megabytes.

Touchdown is the brand new mode where there are no longer tower, river and bridges. Players will have to directly get their troops on their opponent's base. Win the match after successfully doing that three times.

Gold Rush and Gem Rush are events where players have to take down towers to get bags of gold and gems. On the other hand, Mirror is a match wherein two players have an exact same deck.

The Quests mode have daily and weekly rounds where players can earn epic rewards. Also, players can now chat and have a rematch with their 2v2 teammate, muster a free Epic Card from the Shop on Sundays, share and copy decks from outside the game and more.

Clash Royal 2.0.1 update also comes with balancing updates and a couple of bug fixes.
