Angelina Jolie was always reportedly worried that Brad Pitt would reunite with Jennifer Aniston. The former Friends star and the Fury actor who were married between 2000 and 2005, split when the actor fell for Jolie on the set of the film Mr And Mrs Smith.

According to a report in Hollywood Life, Jolie is unahppy with reports that Pitt and Aniston have reconnected after the 41-year-old actress filed for divorce from him on 19 September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. A source said: "Even though Angie is one of the most stunningly beautiful women in the world she's also quite jealous and insecure. She really wanted Brad to distance himself from Jen completely after he left her."

"No matter how much Brad reassured her, Angie deep down always feared he would go back to her. It drove her crazy that Jen maintained a relationship with Brad's mom," the insider added.

"Angelina is frustrated, confused, annoyed and hurt that Brad would reach out to Jen so soon after breaking up with her," another source said.

Jolie had recently talked about the "difficult time" she and her family has been going through in an interview with BBC World News. She said: "I don't want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time. We are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it."

"Many, many people find themselves in this situation," she said. "My whole, my family...we've all being through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children...and my focus is finding this way through. We are and forever will be a family. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer."
